The Columbarium is an arrangement of niches into which an urn, containing cremated remains is permanently placed. This contemplative, brick-finished Columbarium Garden was built to compliment the façade of the church building, which itself is modeled after the Martha-Mary Chapel at Greenfield Village. Featuring elegant trees, flowering shrubs and benches for visiting family and friends, the focal point of the Garden area is a majestic bronze sculpture of Christ the Redeemer. Principally for members of the Lutheran Church of the Redeemer, the columbarium is also open to all Christians, as is Glen Eden.
