| Glen
Eden offers cenotaphs indoors and outdoors at
our Memorial Park in Livonia, and outdoors at
the Redeemer Columbarium at Lutheran Church
of the Redeemer in Birmingham.
A cenotaph is a memorial plaque, honoring and
remembering loved ones whose remains are in
a niche at Glen Eden Memorial Park or elsewhere.
An affordable and permanent cenotaph gives family
and friends a place where they can visit to
honor the life of the loved one.
Indoor cenotaphs
at Livonia are displayed in two light-filled
corridors of our main mausoleum, and outdoor
cenotaphs are featured around a
majestic flagpole in our Memorial Park Boulevard,
dedicated to loved ones who served their community.
Here, four solid bronze bas-relief memorial
plaques dramatically depict our firefighters,
police officers, clergy and veterans.
There is special cenotaph
wall in the Redeemer Columbarium
Garden at Lutheran Church of the Redeemer. The
focal point of the Columbarium is a majestic
bronze sculpture of Christ the Redeemer, standing
amidst elegant trees, flowering shrubs and benches
for visiting family and friends.
