Traditional
Burial

Our memorial gardens feature specific themes
that reflect on attributes of life and character.
Located next to Our Redeemer Chapel are
the Garden of Faith, Garden of Hope and
Garden of Resurrection, each with individual
and family lots.
Two other gardens are specially dedicated
to honor community members who have served
their community and their country: Pastor’s
Point, especially for Lutheran pastors and
their spouses; and the Garden of Valor,
for veterans of military service and their
spouses.
Our
Redeemer Chapel

Our
Redeemer Chapel is the centerpiece of Glen
Eden East Memorial Park. Its design recalls
a classic old-world church with its covered
front porch and steeple. Visitors to the
chapel find the peace and serenity conducive
to reflection and meditation. Our Redeemer
Chapel’s tiled entryway leads to an
interior bathed in natural light from arched
windows, with vaulted ceilings highlighted
by decorative wood beams.
With seating for 150, Our Redeemer Chapel
is a comforting setting for religious services.
Redeemer
Mausoleum

Adjacent
to Our Redeemer Chapel, the masonry-veneered
Redeemer Mausoleum continues the old-world
style design, and easy access between the
two buildings makes year-round visitation
convenient and comfortable.
Once an expensive option for the wealthy,
mausoleum entombment is now an attractive
and affordable option for many families
who prefer the dignity and classic elegance
of above ground burial.
We offer a variety of options including
single, true companion or deluxe companion
crypts, all with the distinctive beauty
of a stone front with bronze memorial plaque.
Those preferring the simplicity, dignity
and affordability of cremation can choose
a marble fronted niche, or a beveled or
stained glass front to display personal
mementos.
Cremation

For
Macomb Township area residents who prefer
the advantages of cremation, Glen Eden East
offers the choice of traditional in-ground
burial, or above ground inurnment in Our
Redeemer Mausoleum.
If you prefer a traditional in-ground space
at Glen Eden East, you may choose one of
five themed gardens: The Garden of Faith,
Garden of Hope and Garden of Resurrection;
or one of our two specially dedicated gardens
-- the Pastors Point Garden, reserved for
Lutheran pastors and their spouses, and
the Garden of Valor a special setting of
honor for our veterans and their spouses. Each space can accept the urns of four loved ones.
If you prefer above ground, indoor inurnment
you may choose niche spaces in our Redeemer
Mausoleum. Designed to complement the old-world
Lutheran style of the Redeemer Chapel, it
provides for year round, weatherproof visitation
of family and friends.
Beveled glass fronted niches display personal
mementos, providing an enduring memorial.
Veterans

Traditional
In-Ground Veterans’ Memorials
At Glen Eden East, a massive bronze sculpture
of an American eagle overlooks the Garden
of Valor – our specially themed resting
place for Veterans and their spouses.
Government-Provided Marker
The U.S. Government provides a 24”
x12” bronze grave marker free to each
veteran. It includes name, dates of birth
and death, rank and service, and the military
cross.
Optional Upgrades
For individual gravesites, you may purchase
a granite base for the government marker,
with or without a bronze flower vase that
features the military cross and a circle
of stars.
For companion memorialization, you can purchase
a larger granite base that provides space
for the addition of a matching companion
memorial-marker and a military-style bronze
flower vase.

Sometimes, couples have different memorialization
choices.
Not everyone has a firm decision on their
burial wishes, and often, couples don’t
want the same arrangements.
Our memorial advisors are dedicated professionals
who will fully and clearly explain all of
your options, so that individual choices
can be accommodated. Having worked with
virtually every family preference and situation,
they’ll guide you through the selection
process so you’ll feel certain you’ve
made the right choices, whether the couple
reposes together, or separately.
Each Glen Eden traditional in-ground lot
can accommodate a single casket or a single casket and a single
urn of cremated remains, or up to four urns. A mausoleum crypt can
accommodate a single casket or a casket
and an urn. Individual mausoleum niches
and companion niches for urns are also available.
A reminder about flower placement.
Fresh flower arrangements are allowed on
lots in a permanent bronze vase or a disposable
vase. Silk flower arrangements are only
allowed to be placed in a permanent bronze
vase.
In mausoleums, one floral tribute per crypt
or niche is allowed to be placed. Floral
displays may be placed in a vase affixed
to the crypt front, and are limited to items
of eight inches (8”) in height and
six inches (6”) wide. Only one floral
tribute per crypt or niche is allowed unless
an additional vase has been placed on the
crypt or niche front.
